Kindness Home Certificate

1. Find the rock as a family. A park, a shoreline, a trail, or the edge of a driveway is enough. One rock for the home. Or receive one as a Gift of Kindness.

2. Design it together. Each person names what the rock should remind the home to do. Choose one mark: a thumbs-up, a heart, or a short line. A gifted rock can keep the mark it arrived with.

3. Paint the rock as a family. Younger children choose the color. Older children do the letters. A light seal is optional. This rock stays indoors. How to paint rocks.

4. Display the Kindness Home Rock. It stays in the house — present, solid, and enduring. It sits quietly until someone needs the reminder.

5. Say the pledge together. The Family pledge is the default. Our Kindness Home pledge is the other choice. You can edit either one.

6. Practice the Kindness Cycle at home for 7 days. A kind act, a thumbs-up, a smile. See the Kindness Cycle.

7. Hold one Family Kindness Meeting with the rock in the center. Start a meeting.

8. Print the Kindness Home Certificate and place it where the rock can be seen. The QR code on the certificate opens this page.
