You’ve Got This

Asking a local business to partner is a real-world business skill. Most business owners appreciate a polite, prepared young entrepreneur (or family) who wants to spread kindness and learn.

Be clear, be brief, be kind, and bring your printed materials + a few sample rocks. Whether they say yes or not, you are practicing courage and professionalism.

Tips for Making Your Pitch

Keep it simple, positive, and focused on mutual benefit.

1

Be Prepared

Print your Pitch Script and Agreement. Bring 3–5 finished Kindness Rocks as samples.

2

Smile & Introduce Yourself

Start with a friendly greeting and ask if they have a couple of minutes.

3

Focus on Benefits for Them

Emphasize low risk, positive image, unique product, free Badge, and supporting local youth.

4

Keep It Short

Aim for 3–5 minutes. Hand them the materials and listen more than you talk.

5

Be Ready for Questions

Have simple answers ready about the split, returns, and responsibility.

6

Thank Them Either Way

Smile, say thank you, and leave a positive impression — every conversation is practice.

Subject: Quick partnership idea that supports local youth & kindness

Hi [Name],

My name is [Your Name] and I’m a young entrepreneur running a Kindness Rocks Business. I’m learning real business skills while spreading kindness.

I’d love to explore a simple consignment partnership. I supply finished rocks (you only pay when they sell), provide a free Partnership Badge, and handle restocking. Unsold rocks can be returned.

Would you have 5–10 minutes this week or next?

Kind regards,
[Your Name]
