Kindness Rocks Certificate
Thank you for scanning your Kindness Rock.
Here is the story, your official certificate, and bonus materials.
1. How Kindness Rocks Evolved
A simple family idea that grew into a movement.
Thumbs Up For Kindness began with grandparents Jeff Brown and Amey Harding. They wanted to teach their grandsons Jake and Adam important life skills. What started as a home-school project about business quickly evolved into teaching kindness as a learnable daily superpower.
The boys helped create the characters HeroKindness (male & female) and the playful Kindness Monkey, along with the catchy Kindness Song that families still sing today. From those kitchen-table beginnings, the project has grown into a for-profit social venture that delivers free resources to schools and families while sustaining itself through kindness products.
Kindness Rocks is one practical and joyful arm of the movement. Rocks were chosen because they are free or inexpensive, available almost everywhere, cross-cultural, durable when sealed, and quietly powerful. A painted rock with a kind message sits patiently until the right person finds it — creating a moment of surprise, warmth, and connection.
