Start a crew
Teen Superpower is the power to write your own script — and kindness is the skill that makes it stick.
A crew is optional. 2–8 people. Or one person.
I have the power to be my own brand.
Write a line first if you can. Then invite people — or don’t.
You speak for yourself and your group. Tools, not a job, rank, or contract.
What a crew is
People using the same tools in their world. Not a kindness club. Not a campaign team.
It can be
- One person + a line
- Friends / group chat
- Team, club, youth group
- Community outreach
- Civics or school project
It is not
- Employment
- A required club
- An ambassador rank
- Pressure to pledge, post, or wear a badge
Framework from adults. Script from you.
How to start
Playbooks
Friends / chat
One better norm. Include someone. No pile-on. No scoreboard.
Team or club
Five minutes at the end of practice. Thank + notice.
Community
One doable act. Script stays yours.
Personal
Self-kindness + one ripple. Crew can grow later.
School playbook
After Period 1. Adult = space + safety. Not the main character.
If you speak about the brand
Do
- Link /teen-superpower
- Write your own lines
- Keep it optional for others
Don’t
- Claim you work for the nonprofit
- Use “official ambassador” as a rank
- Shame anyone who skips badge or pledge
