Kindness Play with the UKV
Use what you have · Create your own · Act it out
The HeroKindness Universal Kindness Vehicle (UKV) is in early development — a vehicle that projects a thumbs-up and launches K-Sparks so kindness becomes visible.
You don’t need to wait. Start Kindness Play today with the toys you already own, or make a simple UKV from paper, cardboard, or LEGO.
What Is Kindness Play? #KindnessPlay
Kindness Play is structured, joyful practice of kindness as a skill. Kids notice a moment, choose a kinder response, act it out, then mark it with a thumbs-up (and a K-Spark when the vehicle is involved).
The UKV idea makes the kind act visible: the vehicle “sees” the kindness, projects a thumbs-up (“I see this. Keep going.”), and launches a K-Spark so others can notice and join.
Notice
See a moment that needs kindness.
Choose
Pick a kinder response.
Act
Do something small and give it a thumbs up.
The UKV Idea
The HeroKindness Universal Kindness Vehicle is a multi-mode kindness vehicle (early concepts). It travels, projects a thumbs-up, and launches K-Sparks so a kind act becomes something others can see and join.
Projects a Thumbs Up
A clear “I see this. Keep going.”
Launches K-Sparks
Makes the energy of kindness visible and joinable.

Play with Toys You Have — or Make Your Own UKV
You don’t need a special set. Use cars, figures, or bricks you already own. Or create a simple vehicle in a few minutes.
Use what you have
Any car, truck, van, or figure that can “travel.” Add a thumbs-up sign or a character giving one.
Paper or cardboard
Fold or tape a simple vehicle. Draw a thumbs-up projector on the front. Use tissue paper or stickers as K-Sparks.
LEGO or bricks
Build a vehicle that can travel. Add a thumbs-up element and a way to “shoot” small pieces as K-Sparks.
Name it & crew it
Give it a name (K-Vehicle, Spark Cruiser, Kindness Express…). Add Team HeroKindness characters as riders.
Quick build tips:
Thumbs-up = paper sign, drawn light, or a minifig/character giving one.
K-Sparks = small paper scraps, stickers, LEGO tiles, or just the story moment when the spark “fires.”
Act Out Kindness Play Scenes

Each short travel story below shows the vehicle projecting a thumbs-up and launching a K-Spark while a Team skill is practiced. Use these or invent your own.
Recess Edge
New kid stands at the edge. Vehicle projects a thumbs-up. Invite Izzy walks over: “Want to join us?” K-Spark launches when space is made.
Tray Spill
Tray tips. Vehicle stops, projects a thumbs-up over the mess, launches sparks. Helper Hank: “I’ve got a hand for that.”
Almost-Unkind Word
Sharp words about to come out. Vehicle projects a thumbs-up for three seconds. Pause Pax chooses thumbs-up instead.
Quiet Thank-You
Someone holds a door almost unnoticed. Vehicle projects a thumbs-up and shoots a K-Spark. Thank-You Theo: “Thank you. That mattered.”
Caught a Spark
Quiet helper almost goes unseen. Spark Scout notices. Vehicle projects a thumbs-up. “Caught a K-Spark!” Credit stays with the helper.
Road Pause / Self-Talk
Cut-off or harsh self-talk. Picture the vehicle projecting a steady thumbs-up. Pause, create space, or flip to “I’ve got this. I’m learning.”
