What is a Social Entrepreneur?
A social entrepreneur is someone who uses business skills and ideas to solve important social or environmental problems.
Traditional Entrepreneur
Creates a business mainly to make profit.
Social Entrepreneur
Creates a business to solve a problem and make the world better — while still making enough money to keep going.
Thumbs Up For Kindness Example
Jeff Brown and Amey Harding saw a big problem — declining kindness, loneliness, and bullying. Instead of just wishing things were better, they started a business that sells kindness products (t-shirts, badges, kits) so they can give free resources to schools. Profit helps spread kindness.
