TEEN SUPERPOWER
Start Your Brand Journey
Teen Superpower is the power to write your own script — and kindness is the skill that makes it stick.
Period 1 learns branding then writes one line. This page is the longer apply path.
Label yourself. Write the script. Live the story.
I have the power to be my own brand
#TeenSuperpower
Updated September 19, 2026
First: Write your brand — learn branding, then one sentence.
Then come back here for the 4-week plan. Class activities are optional. Lead with a Get-Together. Drama is later.
Teachers: /teen-superpower-for-schools/ is the 15-minute school ask. This page is period 2+.
Most people hand you a label first. Athlete. Artist. Quiet kid. Funny one. Smart one.
That’s a starting point, not the whole brand.
Your brand is the feeling people get from how you show up — to yourself and to others — over and over. Kindness is the skill that makes that feeling consistent.
Write your own script. Kindness makes it stick. Tools from adults. Script from you. Everything on this page is optional.
1. Label yourself
Label vs brand — 20 seconds
A label is what people call you. Athlete. Quiet. Funny. Smart. It’s a nickname, not the whole you.
A brand is what people feel after being around you. How you show up. How you treat yourself. How you treat them.
Start with a label if it helps. Don’t stop there. Write the next sentence.
Teen Superpower is writing that script. Kindness is the skill that makes it stick.
If you already did the 15-minute workshop, skip this or go one layer deeper.
Write 2–4 words that come to mind right now. No perfect answers.
Now go one layer deeper.
I am a ______ who…
People feel ______ when I’m around because…
The kindest version of me looks like…
Example: “I am an athlete who also draws. I want people to feel like they can try again after they mess up.”
Labels are the cover. Your story is the book.
2. Write the script and set a simple plan
This is the best follow-on. Use Lesson 3 and Lesson 4 on the workshop page, then keep it small.
Week 1 — Write the line
Write the locked line + 1–2 sentences that are yours. Notes app, locker, or journal.
Week 2 — One proof action
Do one thing that matches the feeling you want people to get.
Week 3 — One chapter
What happened. What you chose. What it says about you.
Week 4 — Show it once
Tell one person, post only if you want, or read it to yourself.
That’s the plan. You adjust it. Nobody else owns the script.
Core promise: Be kind to yourself and others. Add your values on top.
If you only have one class period
Do not start with drama. Start with the workshop.
- Period 1: /teen-superpower-brand/ — learn branding, then one sentence.
- Period 2+: this page — worksheet, 4-week plan, then a Get-Together if the class wants a room activity.
School ask for adults: /teen-superpower-for-schools/
Lead with this
School activity 1: Kindness Get-Together
Bring people together on purpose
Best everyday class activity. No performance. Works in advisory, English, or homeroom.
How a teen can approach the teacher
“Can we run a short Kindness Get-Together in class? Pair people who don’t normally hang out, give them a few questions, and keep it in the room so it stays safe.”
A Kindness Get-Together is a low-pressure gathering for real conversation. Casual. Optional. No performance required.
Hub page: /kindness-get-together/
School pairing form — one-on-one in the room
Pair each student with someone they do not normally hang out with. Stay in a supervised space. The point is to get to know the person better — not to force a friendship or collect a story.
Length: 8–12 minutes. Switch partners only if both want to.
Ground rules:
- Stay in the classroom, library, cafeteria, or another supervised place
- Opt out or sit with a teacher if pairing feels wrong
- No romance framing. No filming unless the teacher sets that up and both people agree
- Private details stay private. Sharing back with the class is optional
Starter prompts (pick 3):
- What is one label people give you that is incomplete?
- When do you feel most like yourself at school?
- What is one small kindness that actually landed for you?
- What do you want people to feel when you show up?
- What is one thing you are becoming — not the finished version?
Close: Thank the other person. One optional sentence to the group: “One thing I learned…” or keep it between the two of you.
Teacher note: pair with care. Do not force contact where safety or comfort is an issue. Distress → school supports.
Writing
School activity 2: History
The amazing people in this room
How a teen can approach the teacher
“Instead of only studying famous people this unit, can we also study the people in this class — our own histories and what we want to change?”
One-page framework
1. Past. 2–3 short chapters: Title / What happened / What it says about me. Include one moment of kindness received or given.
2. Present. Current labels + “I stand for…” Core promise: be kind to myself and others + my values.
3. Future. In one year I want to have… In five years I want people to feel ______ because of how I showed up. One change for my life. One change for someone else. Small is fine.
Class name ideas: “Living History of [Class Period]” or “Our Superpower Timeline.” Sharing is optional.
Optional group
School activity 3: Crew
Optional. Unofficial. Teen-led.
How a teen can approach the teacher
“Can a few of us use advisory, lunch, or club time as a Teen Superpower Crew? Not a required club. Just 2–8 people practicing one kindness action and writing our own lines.”
A Crew is 2–8 people — or one person. Friends, a team, a club, a group chat, or a short school pilot. It is not employment, not an official ambassador rank, and not a company program.
School shape
- 5–15 minutes in advisory, homeroom, or club
- Student-led when possible. Adult provides space and safety.
- Invite without pressure. Quiet still counts.
- One practice this week. Your words, or none.
One-week pilot
Day 1. Explain the idea. Locked line stays locked. Everything after it belongs to the crew.
Midweek. One tool or one kind act — thank someone, include someone, or notice someone.
End of week. Optional private statement or 60-second reflection. No required post.
Full playbook: /teen-superpower-crew/
Framework from adults. Message and script from the crew. No scoreboard.
10 minutes
School activity 4: Kindness Music
Try it with an open mind
How a teen can approach the teacher
“Can we use one song from the Kindness Music Hub? Listen, notice how it feels, and talk for a few minutes. No one has to sing.”
Play one track. Then talk. Music is optional proof that kindness can change the feeling in a room.
Hub: /kindness-music-hub/
10-minute classroom version
- Play one kindness track (or a short clip)
- Write 2 lines in silence: How did it make me feel? Did it lift me up?
- Discuss in pairs or as a class — only if people want to talk
- Optional: pick one line from the song that matches your brand
Discuss
How does this song make you feel?
Does it lift you up, leave you flat, or do something else?
Would you share this with someone who needed a reset? Why or why not?
What would “kindness music” sound like if you wrote the next chapter?
No required performance. Listening counts. Sharing a playlist counts. Quiet still counts.
Second last
School activity 5: Drama / Theatre
I Have the Power to Be My Own Brand
Highest lift. Use it when the class already has a sentence and wants to perform it.
How a teen can approach the teacher
“Can we try a short personal-brand production? Each of us writes a piece about who we are becoming. It can be a class show, a series of monologues, or just for us.”
What the production can be
- Class collage: 1–2 minute monologues or scenes, one after another
- Small group pieces that connect into one show
- Solo piece — private or public
- For the class only, an assembly, or recorded for yourself
Basic production overview
Characters (pick 2–4): You now · You from two years ago · Future you · Inner critic vs. kind voice · One real person who helped you
3 beats: the old script → the turn (a kindness choice) → the new brand + one proof action
Length: 60–90 seconds per student. Full class piece: 15–25 minutes.
Staging: No set required. Optional chair, hoodie, thumbs-up, printed statement, or badge.
Teacher note: Student-written. The locked line can open or close the show. Everything after the line belongs to the teens.

Extra tracks
Public speaking

Author / journalist
Write 300–800 words. Essay, self-interview, letter from future you, or a scene: “The day I stopped following someone else’s script.” Private journal counts.
Keep building
