Thumbs Up For Kindness Officially Launches National Campaign
June 25, 2026 – Collingwood, Ontario, Canada
What began as a grandparents’ desire to teach their grandsons valuable life lessons has officially become a national movement. Today, Thumbs Up For Kindness launches its full public campaign to make kindness visible, practical, and viral across schools, families, and communities in Canada and the United States.
From Family Project to National Movement
Co-founders Jeff Brown and Amey Harding started this journey wanting to show their grandsons Jake and Adam that kindness is a learnable superpower. What began with simple home-school ideas quickly grew into beloved characters — HeroKindness (Male & Female) and Kindness Monkey — along with a catchy Kindness Song that the whole family now sings.
Today the movement features a complete kindness ecosystem: the Kindness Pledge, no-prep school activities, the new Thank You Hub, the Start With Thank You campaign, and AI tools that help users create personalized thank you messages and kindness challenges instantly.
2026 Campaign Highlights
- Thank You Hub – Central platform for the 1 Million Thank Yous movement
- Start With Thank You – The simplest and most powerful way to begin spreading kindness
- AI Kindness Assistant – Instantly generates thank yous, activity ideas, and challenges
- 7-Day Superpower Challenge & Kindness Song integration
- Free resources for schools and families + kindness products that fund the mission
“Kindness is a superpower inside all of us. We built Thumbs Up For Kindness to help people of all ages discover it, practice it, and spread it — starting with something as simple as saying ‘Thank You’. We’re incredibly excited to launch this movement to the world.”
— Jeff Brown & Amey Harding, Co-Founders
