HeroKindness Prototype Story
As we recognized kindness as a superpower skill that we all have inside us – we had to create an image of this superhero. Key components of the image were a thumbs-up pose, a big smile, a happy feeling, ThumbsUpForKindness logo on clothing chest and belt.
We created the images below for Male and Female versions and then started thinking about a name. KindHero was the first choice but we realized there as a KindHero company far away but we should not use it. We changed the name to HeroKindness. We have also started creating videos to bring our superheroes to life.
We developed HeroKindness from a paper image to a computer and into a 3D figure. We had a 3D printed version created to test the shape, size of 6 inches, facial expression of a warm smile, the thumbs up pose and logo visibility.
KindHero Female was developed from image to computer to 3D print version Prototype #1 at an initial height of 5 inches.
The next stage was to develop articulations (moving parts) model in 3D.
There were some minor changes on the 1st prototypes. Mainly the increase in size of the female from 5 to 6 inches. Further testing of machine printed logos was done.
HeroKindness prototype #1. Great to see and think about further development needed. We made changes to the logo and face expression.
